We took a trip to Leiria in order to rent a car and do some sightseeing over the next few days. We have plans to go to Sintra and see some palaces on Monday. Chris has to drive because it’s a manual transmission, which is good because Lindsay doesn’t want to drive on the narrow, windy roads and through the crazy roundabouts. The man at the car rental place loved the kids and even went to the store across the street to buy them a bag of candy! The view on the way back to Nazare was beautiful and we’re excited to get out and do some more exploring!
