While driving the other day we saw some interesting paths from the road. We went back today to walk along them and see what was over there.
We were able to let the kids roam for once. We didn’t see any other cars or people. Gwen liked to see how far away she could get from us and how fast she could run in the sand. She named the stick she is holding the Prickly Pusher because it kept the thorns away.
We managed to wrangle the kids for at least one picture. Max and Penny were very good at avoiding the very pointy plants. The rest of us had a lot more trouble.
What is this thing? There was a lot of vegetation I didn’t recognize.
We are walking back to the car after the hike. Our elevation was pretty high so we could see the ocean while heading back to the car.
