We went to Coimbra to explore the city and more importantly to take the kids to a Toys “R” Us. It wasn’t as big as the ones back home used to be and everything seemed very expensive. They kids had a great time and we let them each get something small. After we went to a restaurant in the city which was themed as an American 50’s Diner. The city is know for its large college and there was also a huge art exhibit in the main square displaying nature photography from around the world.
This one was much cleaner and organized than the ones I remember from childhood.
There was a lot of construction going on in the city at this time and it was loud, but the exhibit was really cool. There were giant photos on display on both sides of the boards.
